RCCE Homeowners Association
History
In 1970, a number of concerned RCCE homeowners agreed that an organization was needed to protect and preserve the beauty and distinction of the growing community. Thus the idea of a homeowners association was born. This initial cadre of concerned citizens met, drafted by-laws, and elected officers. The sub-division was divided into 20 plus areas; each to be represented by an area director. The area directors and executive officers are elected at the Annual RCCE Homeowners Association Meeting held in early summer.
Association Committee Functions and
Responsibilities
Each year special committees are appointed by the Association president to deal with on-going concerns of all residents. The following describes the primary committees and their respective functions and responsibilities.
Entrance and Adjacent Areas
The principal responsibility of this committee is to oversee the beautification, maintenance and upkeep of the front entrance ot the Estates, together with other owned and non-owned adjacent properties. Adjacent properties include, but are not limited to, the property along the access roads and the property under the overpasses. In dealing with the upkeep off the adjacent properties, the committee works with the appropriate city, state, or federal agency responsible for any necessary action.
Security, Safety and Traffic
The members of the committee are the “eyes and ears” of the Association in dealing with these important topics. This committee counsels with both the Benbrook and Fort Worth Police Departments, private security companies, and the local fire and traffic departments in order to continually study and evaluate means of improving upon the quality of living which is enjoyed in RCCE.
Restrictions, Reservations and Covenants
The primary responsibilities of this committee are the
surveillance and enforcement of the restrictions, reservations, and covenants
as set forth in the Deed Restrictions of RCCE – a copy of which can be found in
the RCCE Homeowners Association Directory. The sole objective of the enforcement
of these covenants is to protect the value of each home owner’s property.
